Unique Lead-Free Glazes are free from most of the defects and problems found in other lead-free glazes. There are no pin holes and no crazing, the colors are bright and clean with a medium gloss.

Because these glazes are formulated with oxides other than lead, there is a difference in their working properties, you will notice that it will be necessary to apply these colors smoothly as they do not move in firing like the regular lead bearing glazes and they will show application defects. Most users thin these colors slightly and apply 4 coats.

Always apply these colors to cone 03-04 bisque and fire the glaze to a cone 05.
